Members are of varying career  and  \t\texperience levels.\u00a0Please remember the following while preparing  and  \t\tpresenting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All presentations should be technical and educational in nature  \t\t\t and directed to a security subject matter professional, as noted  \t\t\t below.<\/li>\n<li>All presentations should last no more than 45 minutes excluding  \t\t\ta  brief question and answer session afterwards.\u00a0The presentation can  \t\t\t be interactive in nature, but general Q&amp;A should be reserved until   \t\t\tafter the talk because of time limitations.<\/li>\n<li>Presentations can include, if necessary and as appropriate,  \t\t\t demonstrations (interactive or scripted) within the allotted  \t\t\t presentation timeframe.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a presentation title, abstract, and speaker bio to \t\t\t<a href=\"mailto:info@puertorico.issa.org\">info@puertorico.issa.org<\/a> at least four weeks prior.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a softcopy (PDF or PowerPoint) of the presentation to \t\t\t<a href=\"mailto:info@puertorico.issa.org\">info@puertorico.issa.org<\/a> the day of the talk, unless the presenter restricts the reuse or  \t\t\t posting of the presentation on the Chapter website.\u00a0 Permission to  \t\t\t post presentation materials on the chapter website is assumed unless  \t\t \tspecifically denied in writing.<\/li>\n<li>The chapter will provide a well-equipped room including LCD  \t\t\tprojector and computer with typical software.<\/li>\n<li>The chapter does not have a Guest Speaking Budget, as such, all  \t\t\t presentations, including any travel expenses incurred, are the  \t\t\t responsibility of the guest speaker.<\/li>\n<li>All presenters must reaffirm their scheduled presentation  \t\t\t seventy-two (72) hours prior.\u00a0This can be accomplished via an email  \t\t\t message to include either the <a title=\"Officers\" href=\"https:\/\/puertorico.issa.org\/?page_id=8\"> Marketing Director or Education Director<\/a>.\u00a0This reaffirmation is  \t\t\tessential in order to have a last minute substitute scheduled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Guidelines for Information Security Vendors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>In addition to the guidelines above, information  security  \t\tproduct vendors who are invited to present product-related  information  \t\tduring monthly meetings should also consider:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Sponsorship\" href=\"https:\/\/puertorico.issa.org\/?page_id=12\">Sponsoring the chapter.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Attendees, including technical and management staff, have  \t\t\t requested that vendors do not send sales staff as presenters. The  \t\t\t chapter prefers subject matter experts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We reserve the right to update information in this page.
